Mission Statement:
"To partner with and equip churches, pastors, church leaders and international missions organizations for responsible evangelism around the world by providing teaching, training and creative outreach events."
Our goal is to partner with the local church to reach non-Christians in their communities with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. As a magician, Darrel Barrie uses the art of illusion to capture the audience's attention. Since Darrel is also a Christian, he uses the illusions to help clarify the Gospel for the audience. This type of entertainment with a strong Gospel message is perfect for reaching our MTV generation today!
The principle for our mission statement comes from Colossians 3:23-24 - The scope of our passion ("whatever you do"), the strength of our passion ("heartily"), the secret of our passion ("as to the Lord and not to men"), and the source of our passion ("the Lord Christ"). |
| Darrel's Driving Force |
The driving force, or passion, that I have for ministry comes from two things: (1) my own life experiences--going from being "lost" to being "found," and (2) knowing my purpose in life, as God has "wired" me.
I believe I am called by God to reach this generation for Christ. My sense of urgency comes from the reality that we only have 5-7 years before these students are on their own--and I want to see them know God in a personal way. After all, God has called us all to go and make disciples, and I simply want to honor His Word and His call for me and my life. | |
